This meeting highlights the water crisis and features Dave Sago, Utility Manager, explaining the history of Fairmont’s water transportation system. This was also the meeting where the  Resolution Of The Council For The City Of Fairmont Appointing A City Manager For The City Of Fairmont was adopted, and John I. Rogers III was selected.

Purpose: Help Train People to do Public Access Television: from writing script to shooting footage, editing, and producing a finished DVD.





Friday, September 25, 2009 from 9:00 am - Noon
This workshop will allow persons to bring a five minute video of what they have written and created from the first and/or second workshop. We will discuss each briefly and developing a network of persons interested in taping. We will then begin the consideration of editing.

Saturday, October 10, 2009 from 9:00 am - Noon
Editing and Uploading. Different editing programs will be discussed and some will be shown. A discussion will the occur on uploading the finished product to DVD, the web, etc. Persons with experience will show others these techniques and methods. All programs will be held at Central United Methodist Church, 301 Fairmont Ave., Fairmont, WV 26554


Ways to support TV19, and a couple of notes


> FIRST: Any program of interest can be obtained for $20.00 to assist us unless copyright laws prevent us
 
> SECOND: Consider  underwriting any monthly program for a modest fee of $200 a month or $1,000 a year. That averages out to 60¢ per spot.
 
> Third, I will transpose your video tapes (VHS, S-VHS, Hi-8 or 8mm) onto DVD or CD for $25.00. This will include an hours of production, labeling, and a case. Beyond that, the cost is $20.00 an hour.

TV19 PRODUCES TWO LIVE INTERNET SHOWS: First, the Chamber of Commerce Dinner on August 12 and the City Council Meeting of Aug 25, 2009. In addition, the Regular Council of Churches Meeting of August 27th was broadcast live. Additional opportunities will be discussed as it relates to news programs and worship services
